Chronic health conditions are prevalent among M膩ori women in New Zealand. Mrs Ketu-McKenzie's research explored links between childhood stress and chronic health issues among M膩ori women. Her results showed that stress accelerates the pathway to chronic disease, and that mindfulness therapy can improve health outcomes for M膩ori women.
