Dr Bill Kirkley BA, DipLabourLaw, MA, PhD

Senior Lecturer

School of Management

I have a keen interest in Strategy, Governance and Entrepreneurship, in particular the different modes of thinking required to identify and capture opportunities in the business environment. My research portfolio and plans include further anticipated studies in Entrepreneurial Behavior and the cognitive antecedents that lead to it. I am currently working with a Doctoral student gathering evidence on strategic thinking and anticipate that we will have several articles ready for publication before the end of the year. Further investigative work needs to be done in both Entrepreneurial behavior and strategic thinking. The intent is to advance a theory of Entrepreneurial behavior that enables the early identification and development of entrepreneurial talent. The intent with strategic thinking is to establish a developmental pathway for senior executives to acquire the skills and knowledge that will enable them to formulate and implement strategy more effectively.

Bill is a Senior Lecturer in the School of Management at 淘料视频 Albany in the areas of Strategy and Governance, Entrepreneurship and Innovation, Small Business Management and Change Management. A sought after public speaker and author of several articles on business transformation, strategy and innovation, Bill has extensive senior executive and management consulting experience in the chemical, construction, education and manufacturing sectors of industry.
