Project Title: Annotated Bibliography of Te Reo Maori resources
This project created an annotated bibliography and data-base of all relevant Maori language literature and multi-media sources held in the Massey Library for use in teaching and learning programmes at Massey generally and Maori medium programmes such as the initial teacher education programme Te Aho Tatairangi . The project contributes to existing processes and services related to Maori medium source literature nationally. The data base uses the Maori Subject Headings at the National Library as a basis for constructing the thesaurus of terms. http://mshupoko.natlib.govt.nz/mshupoko/index.htm This is important for maintaining the integrity of the data base in the Maori language. The University can access the database via the Massey Stream platform.
